The sun was shining with no clouds at all and it was our last day. We walked on the gravel road to the hut Bårdsgarden where it was time for a short break. From that hut we had to fight a hill in the forest before the traditional mountains showed up again. We could see Vassendsätra from the plateau. After some hours on the marshes the path became easy and it was downhill again. When we only had metres left an accident happened, Berras sole was broken one more time. Was it luck? Or well planned? It’s up to you! The waffles with cream were just great in the old hut in Vassendsätra. You must try it! When we sat and relaxed in the hut we noticed that the entire area outside was crowded with people so we escaped to the ferry. A nice boat trip in the lovely weather took us back to our car. It took about half an hour and we passed the beach below Gjevilvasshytta which was crowded with people. Probably the best day this summer. After a fast march to the car we could finally get a nice shower in Gjevilvasshytta. Hanssons dinner was interrupted when he got the responsibility to hold a horse while the owner had an errand in the hut. Later on we noticed that the horse was a bit incalculable when she suddenly took all the flowers on the stairs and just ran away.
