1999-07-20 - Glacier course on Bøverbreen (comrade saving in snow crack)
Breakfast as usual. How on earth can they manage to packet the sandwiches. Do they use tape? I can't figure it out! Today's tough practice was rescuing practice in a snow crack. We walked to Böverbreen and put the equipment on and looked for the deepest crack on the whole glacier. Now we get use for the snow anchor instead of ice screw. The snow made this practice more complicated then yesterday. To get up from the edge of the crack was really tricky. But we were lucky to have skilled friends. The weather today was as chilly as yesterday.

After another hard day it tasted very well with a three-course dinner in the cottage.
But I must say that I like the Swedish food better. In the evening we also practiced some orienteering. Of course we played cards with the other. Who won? I think I did.
