Olavsbu - Gjendebu

Route info

Description

From the stony Olavsbu it will be better. This route is very flat and easy to walk. You start in Raudalen and pass a lot of lakes on your way with high mountains on both sides.

After the half leg you will reach Vesleådalen and then follow the valley to Gjendebu. Don't miss to take a look at all the wild flowers on the ground. The last kilometer in the forest feels long. If you are in a hurry to reach the ferry it is possible to walk this route much faster then 5 hours.

Hiking time

5 hours

Worth to know

The tent can be put up everywhere along this route.

Stony as you can see. Not many tent places here. But there were two near the cottage.
