Spiterstulen - Gjendebu

Route info

Description

This is a heavy day trip. The route starts easy in Visdalen and when you turn into Uradalen the hills will show up.

Uphill against the small lakes and Uradalsbandet on an altitude of 1663 metres. It's usually cold and windy here. The path in Uradalen is very stony and it takes some time to get through the valley. It's much easier to walk if there's snow left.

The path continues down to Storådalen and will also pass Hellerforsen. The last kilometers to Gjendebu is fast and at the end you'll walk through a small forest.

Lovely rock terrain. If you walk fast enough it almost feels like asphalt.
