The night was probably very cold and we saw ice on the ground. We took the car and went the last kilometers to Gjendesheim and paid the parking bill. At 10.15 we were all ready for the great adventure. First we walked at asphalt which suited us well. The backpacks were really heavy because of the enormous amount of food. It was a perfect weather for hiking until 18.00 when it became colder and windier mixed with snow. We stopped a lot of times because every step we took was a pain. At noon we enjoyed good food in the sun and of course some rest. The only thing that disturbed me was the snores from Magnus. A classic fall that goes straight into our top ten lists was when Magnus tried to take ten steps on a slippery rock. He then felt with his head down but thanks to his giant backpack he didn't hurt himself. All this was witnessed by a couple of Danish people. We stopped for the night in the steep hillside just before Torfinnsdalen there we also cooked and drank one shot.
