Glitterheim - Memurubu

Route info

Description

Easy light uphill terrain first part and then downhill on nice path to Russvatnet. You follow the lake some kilometer and then furher up in the valley. At the end of the valley you'll meet a little steeper hill up to the ridge. Here you pass the route to Besseggen.

Now it's only downhill left to Memurubu. Enjoy the view and the gravel path.

Memurubu - 1008 metres a.s

• Staffed private lodge with 150 beds.
  Season: end of june to mid of september.

• A giant situated in the middle of Lake Gjende. It's really nice outside and a good place to start your hiking. You have Besseggen, Surtningssui and Bukkelägret just around you.
