Route info

Description

The beginning is the same as the route to Glittertind. After about one hour walking uphill the terrain flattens. You'll reach two path crossing thats leads to Glittertind but you walk forward. The route continues slowly uphills to the lakes Veslegluptjönnen. At the beginning it's some stones and a tendancy to tracks. Around the lakes and down to Veo it's more stony and demanding.

The rest of the walk to Glitterheim is rather easy.

Nice tent places in the valley Veo near Glitterheim and around Spiterstulen or if you like stones you can camp anywhere.

  Season: end of june to mid of september.

• A genuine cottage with lots of peaks nearby, Glittertind of course. Nice path sign outside.

Spiterstulen - 1106 metres a.s

• Staffed private lodge with 200 beds.
  Season: beginning of March to mid October

• A really nice place surrounded with very high mountains, Galdhöpiggen and Glittertind.
