2002-07-20 - Innerdalshytta - Tovatna
We were tired this morning and when we looked outside the sky was decked with fog so we stayed a bit longer in the tent. But the sun regret to be visible so we got no nice pictures over the area. Two hikers from Stockholm told us to visit Reindölsätra and try a waffle with cream. We weren’t disappointed, could it be better?

We passed Innerdalshytta 5 minutes later. No people at all except a hardrocker and an electronic guy. He had it all, GPS, Palm, mobile phone…You name it…everything. How they could hike together is still a quest. The old building just next to the new one was worth looking at. You couldn’t see a straight angle on the entire building.

Innerdalen with wide marshes and high peaks on both sides was powerful. But we couldn’t enjoy the view of it because of the fog and not the fauna either. Maybe we looked at the wrong places? In the hill up to Innerdalsporten we stopped for food. We met lot of people both Danish and Norwegians. This break gave us power to continue to hike.

The terrain was easy and the weather became better and better. When we saw the lake Tovatna there was no doubt about were to camp. We all agreed that the beach looked good and when we reached it short after we just ran out in the cold water. In the evening we manage to do a more powerful fire then yesterday. Our practise made result! Hope we don’t find any more fire-wood tomorrow…
