2000-07-10 - Molladalen - Jønshornet / Ramoen
We started to walk in the direction north east up the steep hill. A couple of small lakes were passed. Marit was quicker and walked about hundred meters before us. But this was punished with a short penalty turn around one of the lakes (the other of us took the right way).

The last bit towards Molladalen, there were a lot of snow in the hillsides. When we reached Storevatnet we located the place were we ate some days ago when we tried to reach Jønshornet for the first time. We had rested some meters from the lake without knowing it! We decided for a replay with some food and a short break.

Up in the valley we saw some tent camps. Many people uses the places around Storevatnet as a base camp for climbing and hiking around Molladalen. When we are eating we sees some people coming down in the valley. It seemed to bee the same people we met at Liadalssnipa! Norway is quite small anyway! We decided to reach the peak Jønshornet (1419 meters above sea level) or Ramoen (another name for it) together. After some searching for the right way up we found the path. A tip is, if you reaches a rest place under a big stone, you had gone to long and have to go back about 200 meters west to find the path.

After about 700 meters in height on about 1000 meters climbing/hiking you understand that it was rather steep. Exactly when we were some hundred meters bellow the peak the fog disappeared and a blue sky met us. Marit run away with Magnus some meters behind. Almost at the peak Marit asks Magnus if he had some pulse. Unfortunately Magnus couldn't answer just nod his head as answer. This day we met quite a lot of people. On other peaks this year we had almost been alone.

After some coke we decided to go downhill again. The way went in the same foot paths as the way up and after about 2.5 hours we saw our car again. This evening more food. This time soup with forcemeat.

This evening Norway had no chance in card play. Norway had a really bad day and lost everything. Therefore Sweden should have more than one point but we aren't greedy.
