1998-07-22 - Fleskedalen/Utladalen - Vettisfossen - Skogadalsbøen
We went up very early at 6.30 and it was a thick fog outside after a rainy night. The creek just outside was crowded with water. With one light backpack Bert and Jonas began the walk to Vettisfossen while Magnus still were sleeping in the tent.

We walked fast and reached Vettisfossen at 8.40. It was a great view and not exactly what the Norwegian told us yesterday. We took some pictures with camera and then we had our breakfast. The view was impressive so we didn't left the place until 10.00.

We passed Vettismorki an idyll surrounded with marshes and trees. After a hard march up the hill we were back already 11.05 and we met a sleeping Magnus in the tent. Now we were hungry so we had to cook some food again and we finished the meal with a rest. Already at 13.30 we were back on the path again. We were now heading Skogadalsbøen.

The rain began in the same moment we first saw the cottage. We camped just outside the cottage and managed to put up the tent between the rainfalls. After some food and a shower we drank a beer and played cards in the cottage, of course we had a "jäger" before.

The evening was finished with a cream served with a small shot. When we were dishing a really big dog came to help us. We thanked him with some spaghetti and meat sauce. Probably it contained very much nutriment because he jumped over the best looking dog in the area just outside the cottage.
